My father went to an estate sale of one of his deceased patients.  This lady had a ton of dusty old photo albums filled with photos of her family and friends traveling all over the world.  Every third page or so she would write a journal of her day on this or that island.  The written descriptions of her day were rather monotonous in contrast to the photos she took which were extremely interesting and often times very vibrant and amusing.  I took the memories of this person and combined them with my own collaging her pictures and writings with my own.  I also included photos of my grandfather and family as he pioneered the town of Aberdeen WA.
